Does anyone know of an easy way that I can convert a batch of photos from Tif to Jpeg all at once?

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Irfanview (irfanview.com) will handle that easily. It's shareware and does a good job in batch processing.

If you have photoshop elements, (it usually comes free with scanners and cameras) under the file menu click batch processing. if using photoshop 6 or higher, you can create an action to convert in one click. there might also be an option under file - automate, i don't have photoshop on my internet computer so i can't check it out now.

I use a Photoshop action that I recorded. Under file->automate->batch. Make sure if you resize that you use the best algorithm for it (cubic).
