How about this ? Let's say you are shooting a football. Fill your frame from edge to edge with the subject. If the football is 15.4 inches long, you will need to make a print that is 15.4 inches long and it will be life size.
Doesn't matter what lens you are using as long as you fill the frame with the subject.

Actually, a flux capacitor is a contradiction in terms. Flux implies a flow, capacitor implies storage of a potential, and you can't have both. Water can flow, you can put it in a bucket, but you don't have a "flowbucket".
