Photoshop Challenges- Would you like... - 05-20-2005, 09:13 AM

OK we have had such a great response from the PS challenge post so I am curious if the forum would like for it to continue? This kinda of stuff is done on other forums so I am taking a page from them if we continue it.

Bi-Weekly would work best I think since it takes some time to get in PS and play with the images. At least I think so.

I think at the end of the 2 weeks or somewhere around that time we can have a poll up for everyone to vote on the "best" or most "Popular" version of PS Work and that person would email me a picture for the next PS Challenge, and of course gets to talk much trash to all of us losers, at least for the 2 weeks or so :)

OK so give me input, give me feedback, if this is something the forum wants I will do my best at trying to get it up on time and make it a regular thing. Remember this is a fresh idea, between Brad's Assignment per week and this PS Challenge every b-week I think it would add some fun things for the forum to have thoughout each month.

OK enough typing time for some feedback - Give it to me!!!!!

I love the idea! Especially since I'm a novice at Photoshop, it would give me a chance to really improve. Also, I like a little friendly competition and constructive criticism. I like the idea of the weekly photo assignment elsewhere on this forum, but since there are no "winners", everyone seems to just post photos, with not much analysis by other members (it's been awhile since I checked -maybe that's changed by now). If we make the Photoshop challenge semi-regular, I would like to see some good analysis of what people like/don't like. Just my opinion.

Hey.. great idea.

And you wouldn't be stepping on my toes if you wanted to post them in the Assignments section... in a way, it even sounds like it belongs there. :)

I think it is awesome to be able to see everyone's interpretation of the same photo. Just this last exercise helped me to step out of my box a little.

I'm glad to see that Napoleon made it down to Texas! I thought only Utahns would have a sense of humor lame enough to appreciate it.

OK the peeps have spoken - 2 weeks each and they will be posted in the Assignment Section of the Forum. Looking forward to seeing what all you guys and gals can come up with!

Remember whoever wins the popular vote will submit the next photo so as different people win the subject material of the challenge will change also.
