The leaflet in a roll of 620 film from way back when.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

I ran across one of these when I was cleaning out my folks house a few years ago. It was for 135 but I'm sure the information is similar. I also found a data sheet for Kodachrome II and a Kodak Exposure Guide. Today's boxes of color film only have film in them. Bummer.
I thought this was going to be another "How to get that vintage look in Photoshop." Grinning. If I want "that 70s look" all I do is pick up one of my 1970s (or ealrlier) bodies, mount a 1970s (or earlier) lens and go "click, click".

Yeah, but where are you going to find a location with burnt orange shag carpet, faux wood paneling, a lava lamp and posters for when the black light is on?

Duffy | I could be smart and say, "MY pad, man!" However, I think Mrs. Venchka would take offense.
Come to think of it, my previous home still had 70s faux wood paneling in the den when we sold it after Katrina.

I dred the day when some little snot asks me "what's film?"
Don't ya just miss the days of blasting through a brick of film, developing it and printing contact sheets (and if you were like me, getting fixer all over your best tee shirt).

Any bets on somebody asking, "What's a brick of film?"
Hint: I have a brick of Kodachrome 64 in my freezer.

I feel so old. Time for another shot of Geratol. How did we make it with manual metering and focusing?
Photoshop's a lot less messy, and I will say I like the results a lot better.

Actually, I never used flash CUBES. My old 620 camera that I had when I was a kid used flashbulbs, and the 110 camera I had in highschool/ college used flipflashes, which were much simpler. But not the cubes.
And realistically, with an old box camera, you could ignore most of that info anyway. Put the film in and shoot, and you either have a picture or you don't.

The ones that stuck half way around on the camera, the ones that left flakes in your pocket, the ones that fired 2 out of 4, the ones that jammed in the camera, the ones that fired this strange half-light, the ones that fell out of that package once you opened it and .... Oh well, I date myself.
