Data is data; just a bunch of 1's and 0's. Transferring wirelessly won't cause any degradation in the quality of the images. TCP/IP protocol works the same wirelessly as it does over a wired ethernet connection. All of the pics I send anywhere other than my local machine are sent over wifi without a problem.
