A&M Campus Bridal shoot? - 03-10-2007, 04:18 PM

I am not from the College Station area so I am unfamiliar with A&M campus. I have a bridal shoot schedualed for next Tuesday, and I was wondering if anyone could post some examples.

Thanks,

Christy

There are seveal locations that are absolutely wonderful! Go to http://campusmaps.tamu.edu/ and print a map of the campus...then try these locations:

Administration Building (big building with old style columns in the very front of campus off of New Main Dr.) - Go inside if its open. The lobby is beautiful.
Clayton Williams Jr. / Former Student Assc. Alumni Building
Memorial Student Center (MSC)
Bell Tower
Academic Building
Century Tree (old oak tree by the Academic Building)
Kyle Field (football field)
All Faiths Chapel

Across campus is the park called "Research Park" great for beautiful landscape and water scenes.

I've done walking shoots through campus to these locations if the bride doesn't mind the walk. You can also drive to get somewhat closer but parking during school is difficult. Weekends and after 5pm are best for parking.

Parking next Tuesday (I assume you mean the 13th) shouldn't be too much of a problem, since it's spring break.

Hey, here are some shots for research park. Its a great place. These aren't the best pics i have ever taken, but you can get some feel for the park.

Then the Admin Building:

I know the date has already passed, but besides the Admin building, and Research park, there are some beautiful horticultural gardens just north of campus. Central Park is also pretty at times. And of course, our beloved Century Tree.
