Paulo, the girl called me Friday and said she was going out of town for the weekend so we've postponed the shoot to this weekend (tentatively)

I'll post them whenever I get to shoot! :)

Thank you all again for the tips,

Gold Reflector - 03-27-2007, 08:43 AM

Forgot to include this before:

Lots of people don't like "gold" reflectors and I usually don't use them -- but:

I find that a gold reflector works better with dark skinned people.

I don't like it on light skinned people.

Just a little something else to add to the mix.

I find gold works best on Hispanic skin tones.. especially good, light mocha colored skin.

Silver is best on Scandanavia and pale Irish/English tones... especially blondes with blue eyes (makes the blue eyes POP).

A silver/gold mix works on just about everyone else.

Jairo
If you don't have a light meter yet ( I don't either), look into the grey cards. They're fairly inexpensive (less than $15-20)...Like I mentioned before, I have one and I've seen it suggested before but I'm bad about remembering to actually use it when I should have...fall in the 'hindsight is 20/20..." I think...
I have experimented with it at home and did notice a difference in being much closer to proper exposure. Here's a link that someone here shared to me before... hope it helps you in someway as well:
