Team Pictures

I am embarking on a new aspect of my Photog Life by getting paid to take Team Pics of the little guys and girls baseball/softball little league.
I have been doing "Action" shots of sports for a number of years, mainly H.S. and now College, so I am not new to the scene but any idea's about posing would be great.

I shoot Nikon D-70. I have a 18-70, 3.5-4.5 and a 70-200, 2.8.

I have never shot team photos before but a few ideas came to mind.
*Try having the kids stand in the middle while the coaches stand on the outside
If there are too many, maybe have some get down on their knees and form two rows
*And maybe try another shot with them holding bats over their shoulders, gloves, on, etc
*Have them line up along the baseline from home to 1st and home to 3rd base to capture home plate
*If possible, try putting everyone together in the shape of a baseball or diamond and shoot overhead with everyone looking up for a different perspective.

And of course, all at a baseball field. HTH
