Fish under moving water - 04-10-2007, 08:20 AM

Has anyone had any luck with this? I saw some Koi at Firewheel Mall but they were under moving water and my camera isn't the best. Do I just need a better camera? Or do I need to find somewhere where they are behind glass or still water?

Also, it was a very cloudy day.

I think a CPL cuts through the reflective part of the water...

You will need a Circular Polarizer filter to cut out the surface reflections.

Here is a tutorial on the use of polarizers.

Hey Roxy... good to see you posting!! Did you find some Bluebonnets? We found some Sunday on the way back from church off of Spring Creek & Custer along the trail. Can't wait to see pics of the baby too!!!

(Yes, there are 2 Roxanna's on here... both from Plano, and both are married to men named Chris.... and our husbands work together, very ironic)

Roxanna: I haven't gone back to the bluebonnets...it has been too chilly for baby :(
But I plan on going back soon as she can wear a dress out there without getting cold.

Norm: I can't believe photoshop can do that! I stopped using it on my pictures but I should start doing it again. Thanks for editing the picture!
