So about a month ago I put this photo of my son in the t-shirt out trying to figure out why I couldn't get the ball on the bat photo. The shutter was set on about 1/20 or 1/50 or some ridiculous number (what the heck was I thinking!!!) So I think maybe between the lense and using my head I think maybe things have improved a little. What do you think??? The top photo was cropped and resized...the bottom photo was just resized.

Cool shot, and the expression is priceless....looks like he's about to hit into a grounder to 3rd.

Do you shoot in continuous mode for sports?

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Renae, looks like you're getting the hang of the timing. Good job.

Well I got a 5 D, my 10 D went to the shop..and although I like the 5, it is definitly slower...haven't quite got used to the timing of it yet. But thanks. The quality is what I was most happy with...I still have a ways to go, but at least I feel better!!
