I'm trying to decide if I like this photo because I know the story, or if it really is a nice photo...(I know I need to fix the flash on the window). Any comments?? And by the way...those of you, like me, who have issues with flashes and lighting, spend a few days in the hospital with your child and your camera, you'll be so bored you'll learn alot!!!!!!!

The B&W emphasizes the relationship between the children. The color one makes me look at the dirty socks.

I agree that the BW emphasizes the children, but for me it's because the color version draws my eye to the buildings outside the window.

Agreed as well. The buildings, and also the blue shoes. B&W is the better choice.
