Do a web search in Google. There are thousands out there.
Be a little careful though, some of the free font sites are as bad as porn sites with all the pop-ups and stuff.

Another good resource is ABout.com. The sites they list are usually alot safer: http://desktoppub.about.com/od/alpha...rms=free+fonts

You generally copy them into your font directory (the location of which will vary by operating system).

Here's a good description of how to do it:

Make sure you shut down the computer after you do this and then restart to help make sure the fonts load right.

I have several graphics programs on my PC (publisher, Illustrator, corel Draw, etc.) and each time I added fonts from these programs they were available in Photoshop. You can try that as well.
