Is there way to make Photoshop CS2 tell you what color something is? I did some gradient work on a sky, but I did not write the color down.

Use the eyedropper? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question.

Look at the Info tab. It will tell you the RGB value of any point on the image your cursor is.

If you select the eyedropper, position it over the color you want to know about and shift-click it will show up in the info tab as a data point. You can do this with multiple points.

It also leave a marker on the image. This comes in handy when white balancing an image using curves or levels.
