Tips for night time Football- Poor lighting - 09-10-2007, 12:08 PM

I am going to shoot 4 PeeWee games this week. All night games at Dow1 Park. I am pretty sure the lighting will not be great.
Any tips on settings that might help me get some decent shots?
I have a 20d and will be shooting with a 70-200 2.8IS. I will be shooting all RAW for the first time also.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Use a flash.....especially if you plan on selling these pictures to parents.

Raw helps DR but not that much.
Try to get flash {580} as close to subjects as possible and use a high ISO.
Canons are low on noise due to CMOS chips and their logic so use the ISO card.
For these kind of work you would be better w JPEG and print on the spot.
Print on spot is where you sell.
