I have a Nikon D70 and need a little guidance.
I have a friend moving away and want to make a poster for her daughter who does competitive cheerleading. I'd like to take a series of shots while she does some tumbling runs and then glue them together using Photoshop (something like this

I have a 70-200 f/2.8 lens that I use for soccer photos. I'm wondering how to shoot her while she's moving without getting blur. Can I just use a monopod and shoot on burst mode with AF-C? Just keep moving the camera and keep the focus on her OR keep moving the monopod down the walkway and shoot the same sequence over and over?
Anyone have any experience with something like this? We're using a gym that I'm told has lots of natural light. I'm hoping the wall is neutral enough so that I don't have to cut OUT each shot, but I can just blur the background.
thanks,
Deanna
