For those of you who considering buying the Total Training instructional DVD series for Adobe CS2,note that the material has been put into dvd rom format-which means you will need a dvd player on your computer if you don't already have one,and the dvd's won't seem to work on you televison dvd players. The result is that you will be saddled to your computer for the duration of the training. In my case,I am feeling fortunate that, after months of saving money, I just bought one of those new Dell 24 inch flat screen monitors. It's coming in handy by mere luck.I would have preferred by far to be able to use my television's dvd player as well as the one in my computer. Total Training says they can get more information on the dvd roms with this set up.Maybe subsequent dvd packages from Total Training won't be put on the dvd rom format with such constraints. The training itself is excellent,as usual.I have spent alot of time with the Total Training for Photoshop 6 series, and Deke McClelland does as fine of a job for CS2 as he did for the Photoshop 6 series. It's well worth the money, but it looks like you'll need a comfortable chair at your computer. As a matter of fact,I think I'm going to start looking around for a new chair myself...;) |
