Okay if I am going to print a 16x20, what do I need to do before I upload a picture? Right now it is in a tiff form from a raw file. It is from a 30D, do I need to resize it, crop it, etc??? --------------------------- Remember: no firmware upgrade will ever fix "lack of talent". ;) |

It all depends on your lab and what they want. Most labs would rather have a .jpeg image, but most can also work from a .tiff. I don't resize my images, but simply convert to a jpeg and in the lab software I crop it before uploading it. Then if I am getting multiple sizes I don't have to save all the different crops. I just do it as I go. I would also suggest that you convert the photo's color space to that which the print lab is going to use. |
