Opanda IExif ? - 12-23-2007, 11:54 AM

Downloaded this software so that I can veiw Exif data, though I can't seem to make it work. I downloaded, installed, and clicked on the desktop icon and what appears to be the proper screen appears.

From here I thought you were suppose to right click on an image and exif data would show up on the screen, but after right clicking there is not an exif data option.

Did I miss a step? I am running Windows XP.

Thanks for any help available,

Charles

it should work... did it prompt a reboot?

you should be able to right click on an image and see the view exif data option.

what browser are you using?

It didn't prompt for a reboot, however, that did not help.

I switched to IE and that did the trick. My default is the ATT Yahoo browser which must not support IExif. Maybe another similar product might work.

Thanks for your help!

if, IPTC data is first, it won't work; if, thumbnail is rebuilt, it won't work; if resample is not what it expects, it won't work. ExifViewer and FxIF addons for FireFox work better, for me.

When you right click, look in the menu that pops up an left click on the program from the choices and the info should pop up.

Don't bother with Opanda... use KUSO. It's WAY better. Customizable display, integrates the same way with Explorer, and more flexible navigation through a folder. Ignore the Japanese on this page, the program is in English.

I switched to Kuso when I got a Vista machine because I could not get Opanda to work, even after multiple emails with their tech support.

Which version of Kuso did you download? I see there is a regular version and a CN version. And also an English Windows Explorer add on version. Is the English version I need, or is that only if I want to see the Exif in windows explorer?
