Free photo mag subscription - 07-22-2005, 08:48 PM

For those who "qualify".

https://www.rangefindermag.com/subscribe/

Have any of you read an issue of Rangefinder magazine? I like their site and hope the magazine is just as good.

Btw, I also get Outdoor Photographer and PC Photo for FREE. I highly suggestion checking out the SlickDeals.net "freebie" forum. I get close to 20 magazines FREE...NO catches.

Rangefinder is a great mag.

Aimed at wedding and portrait photogs, but full of all kinds of great info and articles. Very high quality too.

I love Rangefinder, but then, portraits are my primary interest these days.

I'm sure you'll get in. If they took me, they'll take anybody.

I enjoy the mag even though my main area of interest is nature photography (which they don't seem to cover at all). It's geared toward portrait and wedding photographers, but I still seem to learn a little something each issue just reading about the techniques used by the various photographers they profile.

I got the free subscription, can't say I'm terribly impressed with the magazine though. It seems to be mostly "profile" type articles of photographers, which while mildy interesting I don't find them to be terribly informative. It might be more of value to a wedding/portrait photog but given my interests I can't say that I would keep the subscription if it wasn't free.

I enjoy my subscription, especially since its free. It usually profiles different photographers, but there's never been an issue that didn't have great pics to be inspired by. Like everyone has said, it's geared more to portrait/wedding photography.

I believe to qualify you simply have to be able to properly fill out the form and hit the submit button, but who am I to complain about a free magazine subscription? I absorb all of the information I can get my eyes on. Thanks for posting the link Allen.
