Book Recomendation?

Can anybody recommend a book or two over the Zone System? One that breaks it down to layman's terms and that I can apply the information to a large format camera?

Do a google search on Zone System and read the first few articles that come up. One is from luminous landscape, and I remember it is pretty good. Take the ken rockwell article (which I haven't read) with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the info. I have ordered the Picker book Stovall recommended. I have also read through the Wikipedia. I never thought to check Lumionous Landscape. I'll look into it.
