I have been asked to shoot some interior shots for a restaurant and am looking for some input.
The restaurant has a long salad bar and the available light is not that great. I am thinking of using a couple of SB800's with shoot through umbrellas to try and add some lighting, but am not sure of the range shooting through the umbrellas. If I try to bounce off the ceilings they are painted black and I think all the light will get absorbed.
I have seen a couple of other posts that recommend as Wide Angle lens as possible for interior shoots but with the length of the restaurant and salad bar and such I am afraid the distortion will be too great to fix.
I am going to use tripod and remote trigger and probably drag the shutter to get the most from the available light, but I am worried about creating uneven lighting with the strobes.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
