Went to the frist day of the John Shaw workshop

Can't say I learned a whole lot. I did get a much better grasp of how to meter so that might be worth the price we'll have to wait and see on that. A lot of it was him showing slides and telling stories behind what happened and then adding a little about the technique he used to get the shot. He went over the types of lenses include showing a picture of a 1200mm lenses. That is no typo a 1200 mm lens. Went over extenders and telecoverts and how you can use both together and in what order. Finished up with uses of flash. Over all I wasn't disappointed but came away thinking I might have been able to get all this info in a book. Tomorrow is his second day on PS so I am hoping to get a lot more from that.

That's pretty much the same thing he did when I went, but there wasn't a second day, at least, not that I remember.
