I'm gonna be doing some product shots for a friend of mine. Last time I did this was on jewelry and I could use my light tent and white plexi bottom. These will be quite bigger products. Something around 12" long, 6" wide and 5" tall along with some other random stuff in the shots. I know I could buy seamless paper, but is there anything else I could use? I know if I had to, I could just get some white posterboard set it up and PS the seams out later.

Why don't you buy some black felt or pretty "solid" material from Wal-Mart or fabric store. They are sometimes on sale for $1.00 a yard and make great backgrounds. I've used the black felt & white satin and still have them for interesting and pretty glass or sparklie pieces. I shot some religious stuff with them one day, came out great.....sgs
