I hold you learn best how to make your work better by looking at the work of many, many great photographers. Here is another great Czech photographer but in a very different mold from Josef Sudek.
Here is his web site. (it takes a while to load so give it time and you must use the cursor keys to move throught the images but it's well worth the wait and work. a new suggestion, "...if I right-click on his site, and so reach the Adobe Flash Player Settings, and move the slider to 1mb (in the "local storage" section- one of those little icons on the bottom of the box), the pictures load easily.")
Here is a more accessable site but lacks Streit's touch to the selection and organization.
