gorgeous little girl, beautiful eyes, love the pink and blue with the rest grayed out.

It is a cute subject and I would give it a 7.

In this shot, the selective color freaks me out and overwhelms me a little bit. It makes it hard to actually pay attention to the girl. I'd like this if you did a sort of Cheshire Cat animation where the girl fades into and out of existence while the eyes and the bow stay in place.

I don't do 1-10 ratings, and if I do I always use transcendental numbers. How about pi*Square Root(2).

Please, just a nice monochrome image with a large tonal range and no photoshop gimmicks.
A fine photo doesn't need such. Just distraction. Ask yourself, would Karsh have done this?
