I'm surprised nobody has yet responded.

The US Navy has put together some technical training manuals - and one area they cover is photography. The manual is excellent (at times very heavy on the technical aspect) and there is a Basic and Advanced edition of the manual. Your tax dollars helped create it, so it is well worth it.

You can find it online for download at: http://www.shopdawg.com/navman.htm

I have all kinds of good stuff:

http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/ (anything from beginner to advanced)
http://www.shutterbug.net/ (info on anything digital from equipment to how to use/shoot well with it)
http://strobist.blogspot.com/ (all about light/strobes)
http://www.copyright.gov/eco/index.html (all about copyright and how to apply)
http://www.lighting-essentials.com/ (another great site about lighting both natural and strobes)
http://www.photoworkshop.com/static/...age/index.html (this is really cool, just check it out)
http://uk.fotopunto.com/articulo-exp...ing-schemes_60 ( some different lighting set ups and specs to go with)
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=_7l-uLyO_0I (digital photography 1 on 1)

That's my arsenal, still haven't made it through all of them, but spend a few hours every night learning something new or just solidifying what I thought I knew. LOL

Oh books, the one Im currently reading is Digital Portrait Photography and Lighting by Catherine Jamieson and Sean Mc Cormick

Happy learning!

I really found the book, "How to Photograph Absolutely Everything" to be very interesting, because it is filled with good/bad examples, etc. It touched on a wide variety of photography topics such as lighting, aperture, composition, posing, etc.
