Photoshop CS3 Curves and NAPP seminar

Gee I finally went to a Photoshop National Assoc. of Photoshop Professionals Seminar ...

This is a short summary of the Austin Convention Center last week ...

First - I was suprized by 500 or so people being there and half said they were NAPP members. I even ordered a 17 - 40 L from BH there at NAPP discount. Crowds make me spend.

The subjects mainly included Curves, Masking, and HSB.

CS3 Curves are powerful compared to Levels and allow more custom curve shapes and bends {tone and color}. They also work well for B&W. I am now using them more and actually find them not too fearfull. Redid some old photos and the WoW factor really increased.

Selective Clipping Masks also really help ...








How many of you are using advanced curves masking adjustments and where ???

EL, I really did not fully understand Curves until hearing Ben Willmore last Wednesday. I am still digesting all he talked about.
