Paint Shop Pro XI Batch Resizing Help Needed - 04-22-2008, 01:33 PM

Are there any PSP experts out there? If so, I could use some help.

I know how to resize individual images and I have recorded a script to resize and sharpen an image. That works perfect in a batch process.

BUT, I have had to seperate the horizontal and vertical pics and use two scripts (one for 1200 x 1800 and the other for 1800 x 1200) to complete the process for all pictures.

My question is "Is there a way to record a script that would resize the image based on the longest side of the image so I could resize the entire contents of the folder at one time?"

This would save a lot of time and effort resizing pics to a smaller size to upload to my Smugmug account. I'm talking about thousands of shots from a 20 team softball tournament.

My current software I have at my disposal is PSP XI, Canon's DPP and Breeze Browser Pro.

Any tips, help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

Instead of pixel size, use % in the script. That works for me in PSP9. I just did an entire folder to 50% (includes verticals and horizontals) and it did them in a few seconds. Now, it was only about a dozen images but it worked fine.

assuming the originals are all the same size.
