I read an artical,,somewhere forgot where,,on the web,,
the guy was good at cloud-photography,,
he was using a filter,
and also a graduated filter,,
to get the clouds to pop,,
one pic was of the grand canyon,,and he used the graduated filter on the clouds, leaving the canyon alone,

WOULD THAT BE A 'Nutural Density' FILTER??

help please,,,i want these filters,,

Yes, in a way. Specifically a "graduated neutral density". Meaning half of the lens is clear, the other half "filtered" using (normally) a grey color.

"Neutral" just means that there is no color added or subtracted, grey is color "neutral".

"graduated" means that the transition between the 2 halves is gradual and not a distinct line.
