Too many samples. They all look alike.

Typical Photoshop Excess.

There is a photoshop add-on/plugin called Topaz Adjust that will do this.

Whoa man, easy on the imagery posting. This is quite a lot to explain. The photo above is what can be typically called High Dynamic Range Image (HDRi).

Yes, it can look rather cartoonish depending on your point of view. Some see it as Art others see it as excessive Photoshop garbage. The idea is to have the best in both highlights and shadows. This effect can be done manually in Photoshop and Photomatix or with plug-ins and/or actions that do the "work" for you.

The other photos are a combination of good photography mixed with several digital tricks commonly found in Photoshop.

I would agree that the first photo especially looks like Topaz Adjust to me. The others just look like HDR or some are not even special processing.

The Topaz plug-ins have been sweeping though the Retouch forum on dpreview for a while now. Topaz Adjust does a lot more than just HDR adjustments. At first I didn't like them, but they are growing on me. I haven't used it yet, but I'm tempted.

Another thought... A little bit of forum etiquette and to keep yourself out of trouble: If these are not your images (which I'm guessing based on your question they are not), you really shouldn't post them. Just post a link when you have a question about someone else's images.

You might want to reconsider putting other people's copyrighted photographs on to your
Photobucket account, as well as posting copyrighted photos.

When an image is created, IT IS COPYRIGHTED. No exceptions. And you are correct that it doesn't not have a copyright on it, which actually means that it does have a copyright on it. The old double negative thing from the third grade. So even though you may have permission to post it your friend who created it still owns the copyright.
