PPA Workshops - 01-13-2009, 01:00 PM

Has anyone attended any of their workshops? I am thinking of attending one, but since I've been burned with workshops before, I'll a little hesitant. They are listed under their Studio Management Services. They have 2 day and 3 day seminars.

I strongly suggest taking advantage of IUSA, SWPPA conventions, and other opportunities like that where you can see a short presentation by many instructors to gage style, content, and so on. If one is interesting, ask them for more specifics after the presentation. They usually stick around for short bursts of one-on-one interaction between presentations.

I wish I had a great answer. Find someone you trust who has been to a class you are considering and ask about the aspects of the class that you are trying to learn about. Look at the topics list. I've been disappointed by a few who are probably great photogs, but not so great instructors.
