Hey, that's what I do. That's why I've been in Big Bend for a week, and all my shots ended up on a 1937 Zeiss Icon folder. It looked so nice out there in the desert sunlight.

Whenever someone wants to get into the inevitable debate about equipment with me, my normal answer is "It's a stupid box of light. Aim it at something interesting."

Gear gets in the way more often than it gets out of it.
I like shooting whatever is in front of me.

Kevin - Good call.
I'm a fan of horrible analogies though. Thanks for the welcomes!

Yesterday morning, at Glenwood Cemetery, I discovered that the best camera for the job was the one that I had film for. That ruled out the 4x5 view camera.

While I was fussing at myself for being so stupid, I discovered a great place for breakfast near the cemetery: Laredo Taqueria. On the south side of Washington west of the cemetery. The brightly painted place with the full parking lot on the corner.
