Bridal Extravaganza 2009 Coverage - 07-25-2009, 07:15 PM

So I went this morning with my Fiance, not really expecting to be thrilled. I brought my camera and my 70-210 f4 lens and though I would shoot some candids.

But then I found the formal wear fashion show...and it was all over. I had a blast and plan to go back every year!

Setup: Decided to go flashless since I havent purchased a dedicated flash for my system yet. Everything was shot in Program mode, ISO 1600 in JPG with contrast turned up to +3. Shot with Minolta 70-210 F4 lens. Very little to no shopping done on all of them, most of them are SOOC.

Took about 180 pictures, there will be more to come, you can see them on my smugmug page. Im very pleased with the results this camera is giving me. For me as a shooter, im seeing that my decision to switch camera systems was a really good idea and it has definitely paid off.

Thanks for looking! C&C always welcome.

Nice work! Shows that those old 70-210 f/4s have lots of life in them still.

And what does this have to do with "Photojournalism?"

This is Photojournalism.

Didnt know where else to put it. I was shooting candids at an event. Didnt seem to fit right with weddings because there was no wedding taking place, nor did it seem to really fit with people as it wasnt really a "portrait" per say.

I agree, its not really photojournalism but I didnt know where else to put it.
