New Hunt Junkies - 08-12-2009, 11:34 AM

It's been a while since I've done a Hunt Junkies but this episode is from a rough trip down the Devil's River.

All shot on a Canon 5d Mark II and then a Canon 1d Mark III

BEWARE... A CAMERA WAS KILLED DURING THE FILMING!

Check it out...

Thanks,

Russell

Interesting another 5DMkII failure around a little water.

It would be interesting for Russell to report what Canon says about it.

Nice presentation Russell.
What software were you using for the stills presentation?

Thanks! I used IMovie for the stills and exported to a .mov file and then imported it into Final Cut Pro.

Russell, I am not a person who enjoys hunting, nor a fishing, as a kid those are things you do when you are hungry! But you keep up with stuff like that and you might win me over to the pleasure side.

Janice, one of the best parts about hunting and fishing is getting to spend time outdoors in some of God's beautiful creation (it's not REALLY the Devil's river, you know...LOL). And being out there with good friends and family makes it truly special. Always a good excuse to take a picture too. :)

Russell and Bubba....

The things Russell does to get "The Shot"...and the things Bubba does to help make it happen. Great team.

Oh don't get me wrong, I do all kinds of outdoor things. Just not hunting and fishing. For me that is WORK. After you hunt or fish, then you have to clean, and prepare the meat for the locker or freezer. you have a hide to tan. Gee I am tired just thinking about it. I am a country gal. I had never lived in a city or town with a population greater than 500, until i was married. You don't want to take me canoeing or rafting unless you want to get there fast. And yes, you take the raft back up over rocks up so you come down the rapids again. in your case, I would have avoided the drop in the canoe.

Janice, that's one reason all of my fishing is flyfishing, and most of that is catch and release. All the fun, and none of the work. :D

Loved it! But I almost cried at the 5d death scene.....

I'm also a little mad. I really don't like country music, and now I have the Hunt Junkies theme song stuck in my head....
