I was cleaning up some files and found this shot. The shot was taken with my iPhone camera, the only camera available at the time.
I was driving on I-30 in west Fort Worth when a careflight helicopter swooped low and landed near the freeway. I circled back to see what was happening. The helicopter landed in a church parking lot where the FW Fire Dept and a Medstar ambulance were waiting. An electrical worker had been hurt in the area and needed to taken to the hospital in an air ambulance. As soon as the door on the helicopter closed the pilot powered up the turbine engine to take off. The picture is of the helicopter taking off.
