I heard here on the news it was his flash that caused the fire

LOL Zepp!!!

Great shots! I like the look the available light gives. It really adds to the mood of the shots.

So how do you end up with shots like these at 3:30AM? Does you editor call and wake you up, or do you have a contact in the FD that calls? Were you awoken to sirens and and hopped in your car to chase them down??? Inquiring minds want to know!

Maybe we should be calling him 'Mr. Exclusive', although I could lay claim to that title as well...coming back from a volleyball game Monday night, I happened upon a truck fire at I-45 south and FM 1765/2004...I was the only pj out there...

Sirens kept waking me up. I have a scanner at home , but it is in the office and I don't listen to it at night. After about the 3rd siren going by I was like, let's listen to the radio. I even heard it and still did not go until they called a for a second box! For firefighters that gets you perky. So I went.

Did not get home until 6am, so today I am taking 1 hour naps all day long

They have a witness that saw some teeneagers throw a flammable liquid on the parked cars that started the fire.
