World's Largest Pie Fight (video)

I was hired to photograph this unique event in Grapevine last week. ~275 participants launching 1200 pies at one another for 1 minute= a new Guinness Book World Record!! I was actually among the participants wearing a Press poncho. As soon as the fight began, i received one chocolate pie right in the D300!! Most everything was covered with plastic except the rear of the camera, which received quite a bit of chocolate pie. I spent that evening cleaning my camera with baby wipes and Q-tips. If there was every a "next time", I will be shooting from afar with a long tele. It was a neat experience though and fun to cover- despite the mess.
