India and Thaipusam Festival - 05-03-2010, 07:03 PM

Here are a few from India and a Thaipusam Festival in Singapore. Got mugged while in India. They took everything but my camera (which they would have needed to pry from my cold dead hands). It took me a week and $3000 in bribes to get an exit visa to leave the country. They got my beloved passport.. with stamps from 37 counties. It looked like Hemingway's bible it was so beat-up. Now I have this pretty "virgin" passport.. I'm ashamed to even show it at immigration.

Oh well was a interesting trip none the less.

Wow. Impressive shots. I'm guessing that guy in the last shot has a tough time making it through the metal detector at the airport.

Wow great work, I'm glad you were able to keep your camera and images I can imagine these in a National Geographic. Hope you can recoup some of your losses.
