It's been a while since I posted here, but thought I would share this story I covered recently for the Abilene Reporter-News. There was an antique tractor pull in Merkel, about 15 miles west of Abilene. One of the more interesting angles was a driver named George Toone. He's been blind from birth, but that doesn't stop him from participating. More photos and story at my photoblog: KendallBall.com   |

Very good read and photos. George used to own the radio station here, i remember seeing him drive a big John Deere tractor in the parade one year. |
