This is not my normal stuff to shoot but hey I was close by.

The one of the firefighter is the best one, I think... I discovered when I shot a brush fire that as an artist, you're drawn to the flames.. but the pictures that Photo Editors want are the ones of the firefighters - both battling the fire and resting in between rounds.

Brad is right. And, if you can get a burning or gutted structure in the background they love that.

Looks like you were almost too close.....

I think you did a good job of telling the story. The burning embers are a reminder of how the fire can easily restart. I like the firefighter shot too.

Thanks guys; Brad I know you are right and the funny thing was there was very little fire fighting going on where I was, but I was unable to find another road to where there was more activity. Anyway I did get this one of the guy spraying water onto the fire.
