I spent a few hours on Tuesday morning up on the roof of the newspaper building, capturing these shots for our readers. I'd never done much like this before, so it was a big experiment, but I think it turned out okay...

Shot with a 400 2.8, a 1.4x extender, on a D300 (1.5x crop on the DX sensor), giving me an 840mm equivalent...
