I saw someone had a shot so I thought I would hop on board. Of interest is this club has been closed since 2002 and has been involved in many lawsuits regarding what to do with the property. A private firm had bought it and wanted to put in townhouses, retail, etc. The residents of course did not, so off to battle they went. There were many other factors including the water district and I honestly lost touch with what was going on. I do know that recently a court order was hand and gave the land to the water district. Hopefully I will get caught up once the editor gets the story done. |
