The thing that affected me the most this past week, was seeing how much destruction was done, and how much still looks like the hurricane hit yesterday ... across the state.
Here's some other photo's the day/week following the hurricane. The reason there's so many individual photo's, is that the community where I live donated enough money so we could deliver 500 gallons of gasoline to the rural farm area in Mississippi. I exchanged 5 gallons of gasoline for their generators for a picture. I created a 16x20 poster and created a collage of the faces to "thank the community" to which donated the money for the generators. "We" delivered gas out to some really needy families that were in pretty dire straights by the time we arrived. Electricity was out in some places for a month, a generator will only run for about 2-3 days on 5 gallons of gas. This was truly one of my most favorite lifetime adventures, and feeling of accomplishment.
