Plantersville Fire

Yesterday, my wife, youngest son and I took a field trip out to Plantersville. The devastation from the 5,000 acre fire was heart breaking. I wanted to take more pictures of the destroyed homes,etc. but the people were there either collecting and/or guarding their belongings which made my wife uncomfortable. Here are a few shots of the destruction. It reminded me of the damage at Bolivar from Hurricane Ike. If you want to make a donation for assistance, follow this link. It was a tough deal. I was out there the Monday and Tuesday during the fire. I haven't had a chance to to a followup. I know there are still opportunities to help these people.
