PWSH final game - homecoming (22 images) - 11-09-2011, 12:57 AM

Critique: NC:

Some non-football shots. After the game the home FB team, cheerleaders, band, etc. walk the field for the last time, then the band has one final performance.

Trying to capture the feel of the evening. : )

Edit by Abel: Switched thread to a NC.

Abel,
I don't want to be a snot, but I feel these guidelines are very frustrating and unproductive for the Pixtus community. I can understand and agree with the intent of the guidelines when it comes to asking for CC for specific images, but photojournalism is a different animal. Here quite often, the photographer is trying to tell a story based on a set of images. It's very helpful to get feedback on the success of that rather than if an image is too dark or if one's arm is cropped off. I wish you could see the difference and hope you will re-visit this guideline as it applies to this. I think it will benefit both the poster and the viewers. Thank you for your consideration.

If you wish to keep things as they are that's fine, I will comply, but I ask in fairness, that the rest of comment settings of posts of more than three in this section be edited as well.
Cheers : )
Mark

I try to address every thread I see with over 3 images... I can't catch them all but I do try.

The guideline was put into affect for a reason and when others try to circumvent the rule then others feel they dont need to do it either and in the end it is those that are asking for the critiques who end up suffering in the end because then members wont be offered any CC.

Discussions on the matter.

When did things change?
Has the site change or is it just me
