that's a great series and essay! we hunted ducks like this in the Texas panhandle when i was little. we didn't have dogs or decoys. we would sneak up on tanks and jump up ducks. wading out into the tank to retrieve the ducks were always exciting, and they always fell in the middle of the tanks with the slickest bottoms (from all the duck poo) ... waders got filled with icy cold water more than once...

I like the one with the fog too. Of course there is nothing wrong with the others either. The second and sixth ones look like a Benelli SBE 2. Right?

Dang Roy, you are good and close. Not a Benelli but the little brother Stoeger P-350 (see http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/modelp350.tpl). The shotgun looks just like the Benelli though.

These are beautiful! My father owned a gun store my whole life as I grew up and these bring back many memories. They are just gorgeous photographs.
