Clear Lake Apartment Fire

In my dreams, I'm a pj traveling the world... in reality, I'm a sahm with 2 young kids. Last night I was in the right place at the right time, and even though I didn't have my camera with me, it was only a short drive back home to retrieve it. This was a 2 alarm fire and about 20 units completely destroyed. An ember floated into one of the tanker trucks and fire erupted. CLFD lost a $430k truck last night. No injuries reported, but several family pets were lost.

Where in Clear Lake?

Great images. I really like the b&w of the two firefighters walking toward camera.

Spork, Clear Lake is southeast of Houston; Webster, Seabrook, Kemah area.

Where exactly was the fire?

Just a few blocks North of Bay Area Blvd & Space Center, it was the Wolf Creek Apartments.

I'm always on the wrong side of the camera for these things. I'm a Capt with the local VFD, Not sure I want to take my camera into a burning building!
