Gas plant explosion

awesome. Would have been nice to see a bit more variety in the pics, but they do capture the incredible size of the flames.

We looked at a house once that had a natural gas pipeline thru the backyard. The real estate person said, "Oh, it's abandoned and filled with water..."

a later check said otherwise. I then understood why the price was so good.

enormous flames, I imagine the heat from the fire could be felt several blocks away.

bummer the intense light from the fire blew out the flames details.

I used to run a helpdesk where one of our clients was a major gas manufacturer with plants all over texas and the country. I always pictured this if one of my agents was inept at helping one someone fix one of the computers for remote monitoring of a plant and the pressure built too high.

Everytime I saw these on the news I'd be repeating 'Please don't let that be a *insert company name here* plant'
