Tea Party?

I'm posting this for those PJ photogs, or just anyone who might be interesting in trying out some PJ skills, who are looking for an event to cover.

From what I understand, there's supposed to be a "tea party" at the Alamo on 15 April. I don't know if there are tea parties planned in other TX cities or not, but it should be a good PJ event.

Agree or disagree, this is what they're about. Just FYI before you show up snappin' pics.

Word is, Ted Nugent's supposed to be there, too. I don't think I'll be able to go, but I sure hope some of the other TPFers get a chance to check it out. Evidently, there's supposed to be one in Houston, too...but I don't know where. It's on the 15th, also.

Just to clarify...I'm not pushing one way or another on the tea party. I just wanted to let people know that it'd be a good opportunity to test out some photojournalism skills. If I can make it, I'll be sure to post the pics here.

Most every city of any size is having one. Austin is have two Tea Partys. One at 11:30 at City Hall. The Governor is speaking. And one at 4:00 on the south steps of the Capitol building. The are going over ot the shores afterwards for a mock tea party I heard....

I'll be there for both.

I thought about trying to make the San Antonio event. Ted Nugent, Glen Beck, and who knows who else will be there... but... I'll probably be in Louisiana (earning more taxes... err wages)...

I've thought about making the trip to San Antonio instead of shooting here in Austin. Just haven't made up my mind yet.
I haven't seen Terrible Teddy for a couple of years now. He always has something inspiring to share.
