Woo Hoo . . Another front page shot.

I’ve been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to get a couple of front page shots in The San Marcos paper.

Here’s the one from Tuesday, not a great shot but it told the story of a severe fender bender with a busload of kids. All were OK:



I like this one better as a photigraph. It was of a neighborhood housefire last year:



I ALWAYS take my camera, actually two, one B&W film and my digital.

Are you being paid for these submissions, or is just as a public service? Money is better, but a photo credit is also nice.

Keep shooting, and submitting. It may lead to some assignment work if they get short handed.

The paper pays squat so I'd rarher just take the credits than the money in this case, and get my name known a bit.

Thanks much, yeah the first one is pretty documentarian but I had fun with the second one.
